Heath Jarrett
Pastor

Heath was born in Chico and has called Paradise home for most of his life. He married his wife Megan in 2008 and they have four children together: son Elias (2013), daughter Charlie (2015), son Everest (2018), and son Knox (2019). Heath graduated from CSU, Chico in 2003 with a degree in Media Arts and a certificate in Outdoor Education. He received his M.Div from Cornerstone Seminary in Vallejo, CA, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2017. Heath loves backpacking, rock climbing and mountaineering, photography, woodworking, and fish tacos.

Paul Mathers
Elder

Paul Mathers was born in Garden Grove, Ca. He moved to Chico after receiving a BFA in theater from Chapman University and has been a member of Living Hope Fellowship since 2011. Hi lives in South Chico with his wife, Laurie, and a very silly dog. He enjoys painting and gardening.

Laurie moved from Southern California to Chico in 1992. She became a member of Living Hope Fellowship (then Chico Grace Brethren) in 2011 and joined our staff in 2014. In addition to her administrative duties, she serves as a women’s Bible study teacher. She has two adult children, a grandson, and a granddaughter. She and her husband Paul share a love of gardening, art, and literature.
